about

Calvados is a debut single from an album soon to be released. Calvados is inspired by Erich Maria Remarque’s masterpiece, Arch of Triumph. The setting is Paris, the summer of 1939, several months before Europe will succumb to another world war. Ravik is a talented German surgeon who escaped the Nazi Terror machine, now operating ‘under the table’ in Paris. He falls in love with Joan Mado, a beautiful mysterious woman. Together they drink Calvados, one glass after another, perhaps in a futile effort to forget the big last war and the inevitable one that is about to devastate the entire world.
